GE HealthCare to distribute NordicNeuroLab fMRI tools
The agreement covers nordicMEDiVA, nordicAktiva, selected MRI hardware, and patient comfort products across authorized global markets.
GE HealthCare will integrate and distribute NordicNeuroLab’s functional MRI software within its MRI platform ecosystem under a software license and distribution agreement, according to NordicNeuroLab. The agreement covers authorized markets worldwide.
The software portfolio includes nordicMEDiVA and nordicAktiva. NordicNeuroLab said selected MRI hardware and patient comfort products, including nordicComfortSolution, are also part of the agreement.
The collaboration is structured around functional MRI, diffusion imaging, and neuro post-processing. The companies said the framework is designed for cloud-based and on-premise deployments across regions.
NordicNeuroLab will retain ownership of its software technology. The company will also provide training, service, and lifecycle support, according to the announcement.
nordicMEDiVA is a web-based neuroimaging platform from NordicNeuroLab. The product page lists modules for task-based fMRI, diffusion and tractography, and DSC perfusion.
FDA records list nordicMEDiVA under 510(k) K243209 as a radiological image-processing system from NordicNeuroLab. The device received a substantially equivalent decision in 2024.
NordicNeuroLab said its collaboration with GE Healthcare began in 2017. The company’s GE Healthcare page says it has supplied MR-conditional equipment for fMRI as part of that collaboration.
