Cookie policy.
A short, plain-language description of every cookie this site sets.
This page reflects every cookie and browser storage value Radiology Signal uses today. When we add or change any tracking technology, we will update this page before the change goes live.
What we use
Consent record. Radiology Signal stores one essential value in your browser: a single localStorage entry under the key rs-cookie-consent, which records the choice you make on the cookie banner. Its value is a small JSON object containing the choice (either accepted or rejected) and the timestamp of that choice. Until you make a choice, no entry exists. The data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
Google Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept cookies on the banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns. GA4 sets two cookies in your browser:
_ga. Provider: Google. Purpose: distinguishes unique visitors. Persists for 2 years._ga_<measurement-id>. Provider: Google. Purpose: maintains session state for GA4. Persists for 2 years.
If you reject cookies, or have not yet answered the banner, no Google Analytics script loads and no GA cookies are set.
What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting trackers, or third-party behavioral analytics beyond GA4. When that changes, this page will list each new tracker before we deploy it, with its purpose, its provider, and how long it persists.
Your choices
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser settings. You can also email contact@radiologysignal.com with questions.
Updates
We will update this page each time the cookies we use change. The change history is kept in the page's git history.
