Visage to deploy cloud imaging platform across UMMS
The 5-year contract covers cloud deployment of Visage 7 Viewer and Visage 7 Workflow across the University of Maryland Medical System.
Pro Medicus subsidiary Visage Imaging has signed a 5-year, $14.4M contract with the University of Maryland Medical System to deploy the Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform.
The agreement covers Visage 7 Viewer and Visage 7 Workflow. The platform will be deployed in the cloud across UMMS’s network of academic, community, and specialty hospitals.
Rollout planning is set to begin immediately, with go-live targeted for early 2027. The deal uses a transaction-based licensing model, according to Pro Medicus.
UMMS includes the University of Maryland Medical Center, the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital, and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
Pro Medicus described the deal as a 5-year A$23M contract in its Australian filing. The U.S. dollar value was reported as $14.4M.
Visage Imaging is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus, with headquarters in San Diego and Berlin. Pro Medicus is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.
