QT Imaging-Olea viewer brings multimodality breast imaging into one interface
The QT Imaging-Olea Viewer brings breast acoustic CT, mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, MRI, and ultrasound into 1 interface.
QT Imaging and Olea Medical have launched the QT Imaging-Olea Viewer, a platform for viewing multiple breast imaging modalities within a single interface.
Developed through a collaboration between the companies, the viewer is optimized for QT Imaging’s breast imaging technology and built on Olea Medical’s visualization framework.
Clinicians can use the platform to review data from QT Imaging’s Breast Acoustic CT system alongside mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, MRI, and ultrasound, according to the companies.
QT Imaging said its Breast Acoustic CT system uses ultrasound tomography to produce 3D volumetric breast imaging without ionizing radiation or painful compression. The company said the technology provides quantitative, reproducible imaging data.
Viewer features include 3D rendering, quantitative assessment, and integrated AI/ML capabilities. Automated lesion segmentation and computer-aided detection are planned for future releases, according to QT Imaging.
Product demonstrations were scheduled for the Olea Medical booth at the Society of Breast Imaging Breast Imaging Symposium, held April 16-19 at the Seattle Convention Center.
