Align Capital Partners has acquired Heritage Imaging, a provider of mobile diagnostic imaging services to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Heritage Imaging is based in Boise, ID, and was founded in 1989.
The company delivers diagnostic imaging services across 14 states, with a focus on underserved and rural markets.
Its customers include critical access hospitals, community clinics, and local healthcare centers.
Heritage’s service offerings include PET/CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, echocardiography, and additional imaging modalities.
The company delivers those services through fully staffed mobile imaging solutions and leased equipment offerings.
Steve Coppess, MD, MBA, will continue as CEO after the transaction alongside the current management team.
“Heritage was established to help hospitals,” Coppess said in the announcement.
Heritage has completed 3 add-on acquisitions since 2024.
Alongside ACP, the company plans to continue M&A activity, initially focused on outsourced imaging models in adjacent markets and service-line expansion into new modalities.
McGuireWoods advised ACP on the transaction. Heritage Imaging was advised by Cascadia Capital and Holland & Knight.
ACP is a growth-oriented private equity firm with investment teams in Cleveland and Dallas. The firm said it manages $2.1B in committed capital.
