CQ Medical has acquired .decimal, a precision manufacturer of patient-specific beam-shaping devices and technologies used in cancer treatment, according to the company.

The Avondale, PA-based company said the acquisition expands its radiotherapy consumables portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.

The acquired company has served the radiotherapy clinical community for more than 40 years and produces customized patient-specific devices, typically manufacturing and shipping them within 1 to 2 days of order receipt.

.decimal has delivered more than 500,000 patient-specific treatment devices and serves more than 900 cancer centers across the U.S., CQ Medical said.

CQ Medical was formed in 2022 through the combination of CIVCO Radiotherapy and Qfix. Its portfolio includes radiotherapy positioning and immobilization products, stereotactic treatment and proton therapy devices, implantable fiducial markers, thermoplastic immobilization systems, and patient transfer systems.

The acquisition adds .decimal’s product lines, software platform, and specialized production expertise to CQ Medical’s existing portfolio, according to the company.

Following the transaction, .decimal’s operations will continue from its Sanford, FL facility. CQ Medical said it will work with .decimal customers to maintain service and support during the transition.

The deal follows CQ Medical’s December 2025 acquisition of Bionix’s radiation therapy business unit, according to the company’s page.
