Anthem members regain GSIA radiology access in California

The multiyear agreement restores in-network access to Golden State Imaging Associates’ diagnostic and interventional radiology services, effective June 1, 2026.

Golden State Imaging Associates and Anthem Blue Cross have reached a multiyear agreement restoring in-network access to radiology services for Anthem members across California.

The agreement is effective June 1, 2026. It covers diagnostic and interventional radiology services provided by GSIA’s board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists.

GSIA is a Radiology Partners-affiliated practice. The announcement said the renewed agreement is intended to support access to subspecialized radiology services for Anthem members.

Golden State Imaging Associates provides radiology services to hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and referring physicians. Its listed services include body imaging, breast imaging, diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, pediatric imaging, and vascular radiology.

The agreement follows broader payer-provider network pressure in radiology, where out-of-network status can affect patient access, referring-provider workflows, and hospital-based imaging coverage.
