SimonMed has launched the Shield Program, a permanent nationwide initiative offering military personnel, veterans, and first responders 20% off any SimonMed Longevity whole-body MRI.
Eligible groups include veterans, active-duty military, reserve and National Guard members, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics. SimonMed said eligibility can be verified at the appointment with a valid military or work ID, paystub, or official documentation.
SimonMed Longevity whole-body MRI evaluates 13 or more organs and systems in a single radiation-free exam. Areas listed by the company include the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvic organs.
No referral is required. SimonMed said HSA and FSA funds are accepted, and each scan includes a virtual clinical consultation to review findings and next steps.
Follow-up imaging may be available across SimonMed’s network if additional evaluation is recommended. Services listed by the company include advanced MRI, CT, cardiac imaging, women’s imaging, and bone-health services.
SimonMed’s Shield page states that elective preventive whole-body MRI is not typically covered by standard health insurance. Financing options listed by the company include CareCredit, Klarna, and Affirm.
The Scottsdale, AZ-based provider operates more than 175 centers across 10 states and has more than 300 subspecialty-trained, board-certified radiologists, according to SimonMed.
