GE HealthCare opens free HelloAI training program

GE HealthCare has made more than 20 hours of healthcare AI education available at no cost through its HelloAI program. The company announced the update May 19.

HelloAI Professional is now available free of charge. The track includes digital on-demand learning and access to webinars with healthcare experts, according to GE HealthCare.

A separate HelloAI Foundations course is also available to the public at no cost. GE HealthCare said the 1-hour course covers AI fundamentals, machine learning, generative AI, and core ethical and safety considerations.

Course content is designed for clinical, engineering, research, administrative, and leadership roles. The online format allows participants to learn at their own pace.

Professional-track topics include AI integration into healthcare delivery, industry case studies, responsible adoption frameworks, and practical material for innovation, leadership, and decision-making.

GE HealthCare cited AMA survey data showing physician use of AI has more than doubled since 2023 to 81%. The AMA said nearly 1,700 physicians responded to its 2026 survey on augmented intelligence.

HelloAI was originally launched in 2018 through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. GE HealthCare now leads the program with academic partners including the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm.

In 2025, GE HealthCare said it had 100 FDA-listed AI-enabled medical device authorizations in the U.S. and had topped the FDA list for the 4th consecutive year.
