Essen Health Care has launched RADIN Health, an all-in-one RIS and PACS radiology cloud platform, according to Radin LLC.

The platform is intended to support diagnostic imaging workflows for patients, referring physicians, and providers across the New York-based healthcare organization’s network.

RADIN uses artificial intelligence across multiple parts of the imaging process, including patient and provider engagement, scheduling, image and report sharing, and physician reporting, Radin said.

The system includes patient and referring physician portals for orders, appointments, and communication. It also allows electronic access to images and reports through a cloud application, according to the announcement.

Radin said the platform is designed to reduce manual steps from order entry to image archival. Its functions also include patient follow-up tracking for recommended scans tied to abnormal or inconclusive findings.

The company’s broader SaaS platform includes RIS, PACS, Dictation AI, and Select workflow management product lines. RADIN also describes its platform as zero-footprint and cloud-based.

Radin’s PACS includes configurable workflow management, customizable hanging protocols, support for multiple modalities, and multiplanar, MIP, and 3D reconstructions, according to the company.

RADIN Select is used for study assignment and distribution in high-volume radiology practices, with workflow balancing based on study count or relative value units, the company said.

Essen Health Care is an integrated, multispecialty healthcare delivery organization with more than 25 years of experience providing care across New York. Its services include house calls, urgent care, primary care, and specialty care.
